Controlled design of printed electronics with 2D materials

figure 1 1639672640431 x2Scientists have shown how electricity is transported in printed two-dimensional (2D) materials, paving the way for the design of new types of devices that could be integrated into flexible and stretchable materials, such as clothing, paper or even tissues inside the body.

A study led by researchers at the UK’s Imperial College London (ICL) and Politecnico di Torino in Italy reveals the physical mechanisms responsible for the transport of electricity in printed 2D materials.
