US researchers at Rice University have demonstrated that carbon nanotube fibres can be fully recycled without any loss in their structure or properties.
This discovery positions CNT fibres as a sustainable alternative to traditional materials such as metals, polymers and the much larger carbon fibres, which are notoriously difficult to recycle.
