Ukrainian women’s clothing producer switches to face masks

Santa Ukraina, a manufacturer of women’s dresses, blouses and skirts for European retail brands, has rapidly transformed its output to help solve the shortage of face masks in Ukraine owing to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Two years ago, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development supported the company with local expert advice funded by the EU’s EU4Business initiative, Sweden and the US to introduce modern computer-aided design technology.
