The Armenian government is discussing proposals to start textile production in the Tavush border communities. Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan told Armenpress that there are several offers concerning textile production in the region, including one made by Tavush Textile.
The company plans to produce multi-purpose gloves, for example, for agricultural, construction, anti-freeze and anti-corrosion applications, which will be exported to Russia and Belarus.
