3D-printed bioabsorbable breast implant
An implantable device, such as a breast implant, for use in soft tissue reconstruction has been developed by a team of French researchers.
The device enables the growth of cells capable of forming a soft tissue, and represents an alternative to existing silicone-based prostheses, which can result in problems such as foreign body reactions.
