ALC Bulgaria opens new factory for car upholstery

ALC Bulgaria, a subsidiary of South Africa’s Automotive Leather Company (ALC) Group, has opened a second factory for car upholstery for BMW’s Mini Cooper in Ihtiman, near Sofia, Bulgaria. The BGN2.6m (US$1.8m) investment will employ around 700 people.
