American & Efird signs Philippines licensing deal

Industrial sewing and embroidery thread producer American & Efird (A&E) is expanding its business in South East Asia, having signed a licensing deal with a leading thread producer in the Philippines.

Founded in 1956, Manila Bay Thread serves a wide range of customers in the apparel, leather goods and non-apparel sectors. This new arrangement allows for the local manufacturing and delivery of A&E’s global brands into the region.
