Ajlan & Brothers Group, a producer of men’s hats and ready-made fabrics based in Saudi Arabia, plans to invest US$2bn in the silk, cotton and textile industries of Uzbekistan, according to Mohammed Abdulaziz Azhlan, chairman.
The investment involves the construction of raw cotton and silk processing plants in the Bukhara, Andijan and Samarkand regions.
