Aster Textile buys El Cegar plant in Serbia

Turkish investor Aster Textile, which recently bought EI Cegar at auction for €1.5m (US$1.6m), will develop the textile plant in Nis. The facility will immediately hire 500 people and 2,000 workers by 2018, when it aims to export goods totalling €50m (US$54m) a year.
