Autoneum opens automotive components plant in Hungary

Automotive component supplier Autoneum is expanding its European production capacities and has opened a plant for the manufacture of lightweight fibre-based components for acoustic and thermal management in Hungary.

From its 12,000-m2 plant in Komárom, the Switzerland-based supplier of acoustic and thermal management systems will in future supply German and British manufacturers with carpet systems, inner dashes and wheelhouse outer liners as well as other noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) components just-in-time at their nearby production sites in Hungary and Slovakia.
