Azerbaijani cotton yarn producer to increase production and exports

Azerbaijani cotton yarn producer Mingeçevir Tekstil plans to expand exports and increase output this year. In 2019, the company produced almost 12,000 tonnes of cotton yarn valued at AZN46m (US$27m).

Increased exports are planned for Russia, Turkey, Portugal, Belgium, Ukraine, Poland and Pakistan. The company will also start production of yarn made from acrylic/viscose, acrylic/cotton, viscose and Tencel.
