Estonian textile and clothing manufacturer Baltika Group plans to cease domestic production and reduce its presence in major foreign markets this year.
Meelis Milder, chairman, said the company will close two of its major facilities in Lasnamäe and Ahtme, resulting in the loss of around 340 jobs. Production will be transferred to another EU country.
The company also plans a further optimisation of its business through some of its brands and suspending unprofitable projects.
