Belarus to raise Chinese loan to upgrade Orsha Linen Mill

Belarus is planning to raise a preferential consumer loan worth US$51.8m over 15 years from the Export-Import Bank of China for the second phase of the project to upgrade Orsha Linen Mill in 2015-17.

The second phase will help upgrade the long flax fibre processing capacity by 80%, increasing the annual volume of long flax fibre processing from 4,600 tonnes to 5,300 tonnes.
