Belarusian linen mill may open clothing joint venture in Slovakia


Orsha Linen Mill of Belarus is looking to open apparel factories in the EU, particularly, in Slovakia, according to director general Vladimir Nesterenko. The main objective is to raise the competitiveness of linen products on the EU market.

Nesterenko said the factory is now looking for a partner to sponsor the implementation of this project. “Both Slovakia and Belarus are interested in raising investments and are ready to support investors… in this field which could help us build partnership, including investment partnership,” he said.
