The Better Factories Cambodia (BFC) initiative has published the results of an independent impact assessment study, which suggest it is succeeding in its aim of improving conditions for Cambodian clothing workers.
The study, carried out by researchers at Tufts University between 2015 and 2018, indicates that workers at factories involved in the initiative enjoy better pay and conditions than industry standards.
It highlights the results of a survey of workers and managers at BFC factories on a range of topics ranging from working conditions to factory operations and their lives at home.
