Brands begin discussions on responsible exit from Myanmar
IndustriALL says it has begun discussions with fashion brands on a responsible exit from Myanmar owing to the deteriorating human rights situation and the impossibility of doing due diligence.
Representatives of the global trade union and the Myanmar trade union movement met with representatives of clothing brands to discuss a framework for a responsible exit, as required by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD.
