Bulgarian home textiles producer optimistic

Bulgarian home textiles producer PNG 1962 reported a 10% growth in sales last year compared with 2018. It is expected that sales in 2020 will increase further, with the growth mainly in foreign markets; currently about 70% of production is for export.

The company, which is the legal successor of Panagyurishte 1962, started trading in 2001 in towels, bathrobes and bed-linen. It opened a store in central Sofia in 2004 and in 2012 owner Milen Petkov started production of home textiles as well as fabric banners for advertising. He registered a new company, PNG 1962 – an abbreviation of Panagyurishte, which is difficult to pronounce outside Bulgaria.
