Bulgarian menswear manufacturer offers new business model

At the recent 2014 TOCICO (Theory of Constraints International Certification Organisation) International Conference held in Washington DC, USA, Martin Yordanov, owner and manager of Bulgarian menswear manufacturer Richmart, demonstrated how 30 made-to-measure suits could be produced and delivered within just a few days.

During the event, Yordanov showed in practice the benefits of business theory and application of business philosophy in the apparel business.

Recently, the company has started to provide production facilities and know-how to -train designers from across Europe. “The previous common practice in the fashion industry is creating collections twice a year – spring/summer and autumn/winter, said Yordanov. “Fashion collections, however, are created one year before they appear in the stores. This way is unacceptable.”
