Gabrovo, Bulgaria-based producer of personal protection apparel Mak, one of the oldest textile companies in Bulgaria, plans to again invest its profit for the previous years in the technological innovation of production.
The decision to allocate the whole profit for new investment will be voted at the company’s annual general meeting on 22 May. The accumulated profit is around BGN91,000 (US$64,000), which is down compared with the previous year’s result of BGN250,000 (US$176,000). The company plans to re-equip a weaving workshop with funding from the EU’s “Development of human resources” programme.
