Calls for action over poor-quality Russian school uniforms

Russian consumer rights activists have proposed to confiscate and burn school uniforms that do not meet national sanitary and epidemiological norms and safety standards. They also suggest that companies involved in the manufacture of low-quality uniforms be fined.

According to Alisher Zakhidov of the Society for Protection of Consumer Rights, large consignments of school uniforms are also imported illegally, with most poor-quality goods coming from China.
