Cambodia’s clothing sector had issued a renewed plea for help amid new statistics revealing that more than 150,000 workers have lost their jobs owing to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Factory owners and trade unions have called on the government and other agencies to do more to support the industry and former clothing workers who are facing abject poverty.
