Car seat of the future presented at FUTEX

An innovative car seat was presented by TITV Greiz at the FUTEX Convention held in Marcq-en-Baroeul and Tourcoing, France, in January, where the main topic was “Textiles and Energy”.

Blue light-emitting diodes are integrated in the headrest – this light is absorbed by the brain of the driver where it can have a positive effect on his/her wellbeing, says the institute.

Heating elements are inserted in the upper part of the car seat to replace large-area heating systems, which can usually be found in the seat; this provides comfortable and efficient heating of the neck.
