Chinese clothing factory refuses to rehire 30 workers in Myanmar

The Chinese-owned Fu Yuen Garment factory will not rehire 30 workers it sacked in August for violating factory rules and actions that decreased its output, officials said.

A manager said the factory is willing to negotiate all demands of the striking workers, except the one regarding the rehiring of the dismissed workers.
