Clinical-grade collagen made from bullfrog skin to treat chronic wounds

Prof Dalton Tay in the News 12 Aug 2022A new clinical-grade collagen patch made from discarded bullfrog skin has been developed by materials scientists from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in collaboration with Singapore-based medical technology firm Cuprina Wound Care Solutions.

The patented technology is now exclusively licensed for scale-up and commercial production to Cuprina, which specialises in developing products that treat chronic wounds, such as those suffered by diabetes patients.
