Coloured suture improves visual contrast in critical surgical procedures
Honeywell is expanding its Spectra MG biofibre portfolio with a blue-hued fibre that provides a strong visual aid to better differentiate between multiple suture sets in more complex surgeries.
According to the company of Morris Plains, New Jersey, USA, the new fibre enables healthcare professionals to operate more accurately and efficiently by creating clear colour contrast, which can lead to greater safety for patients.
