Turkish-owned textile firm Cotam Enterprises has signed an agreement with the Turkmen Ministry of Textile Industry to set up a new textile complex in the country as part of plans to increase investment in the sector.
Construction work started last month and the complex is expected to be operational by March 2021. It is being set up in the Akhal Velayat (region) and will be equipped with modern textile manufacturing technologies.
