Croatian company Čateks, which produces specialised fabrics for the medical and military industries, has signed a deal worth up to €3m (US$3.3m) with the Slovenian Ministry of Defence.
The contract is for Defend, made from a polyamide/cotton Cordura fabric that offers strength and durability, as well as flame resistance, for use in the production of trousers, shirts, waterproof and windproof jackets, overcoats, raincoats and various accessories.
