Dutch textile company opens workwear plant in Macedonia

VPTEX Macedonia, a new plant for manufacturing industrial and safety clothing, has been opened by Van Puijenbroek Textiel in the Ilinden industrial zone in Macedonia.

The Dutch company has invested €2m (US$2.7m) in the facility. Fifty employees have already been engaged, and 50 more will be added after this month’s opening of the second production line; a third line will follow in the first quarter of 2014.
