Duty-free agreements worry Cambodian goverment

Duty-free agreements between regional competitors and foreign importers will put the Cambodian clothing industry at risk, according to Commerce Minister Cham Prasidh.

He warned that the country’s garment sector will not be able to maintain its competitive edge over the industries of neighbours, such as Vietnam and Myanmar, should those countries implement free-trade agreements with the US, the EU and regional trade partners.
