ES FiberVisions, the world’s largest producer of polyolefin bicomponent fibres, has started operating its newest plant in Thailand’s Rayong province with a production capacity of 14,000 tonnes a year of speciality fibres, mainly for hygiene applications.
The company is a joint venture between FiberVisions, a subsidiary of Thailand-based Indorama Ventures, and Japan’s JNC – both producers of intermediate petrochemicals.
