Ethiopian Airlines to enter interiors market

Ethiopian Airlines Group is to start manufacturing aircraft interior components in Ethiopia, after forming a partnership with German cabin specialist Aircraft Cabin Modification (ACM).

Following a feasibility study, the airline said it has agreed to produce aircraft seat covers, seatbelts, carpets and other interior parts for ACM Aerospace.

The facility in Ethiopia will be EASA Part 21G-certified for production and will employ more than 100 people.
