EU aid to boost Myanmar's clothing sector

The EU is continuing its commitment to assist Myanmar’s fledgling clothing sector with a €2.8m (US$3.0m) investment for development.

Myanmar will get the money as part of the EU-funded Smart Myanmar, which promotes and supports the sustainable production of “Made in Myanmar” clothing.
