EU-Indochina platform has great ambitions

The France-based non-profit organisation Evalliance, which was established in 2014 to strengthen relations between EU and Indochinese companies in the textile, clothing and footwear sector, sees a double opportunity in the region.

Since Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam import most of the fabric they need, they constitute an interesting market for the European textile industry. And since these same countries are eagerly climbing the value-added ladder, they need to enhance their competitiveness in terms of productivity, design and administration, an effort in which Evalliance wants to assist.
