EU to provide cash for Myanmar clothing workers

The EU plans to provide €5m (US$5.4m) in cash to support clothing workers in Myanmar who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Myan Ku (quick assistance) emergency cash fund will go directly to cut, make, pack (CMP) workers who have lost their jobs as a result of COVID-19.
