Fabric production remains an issue for Vietnam's textile industry


Fabric production is a major challenge for Vietnam’s textile and clothing industry when it comes to free trade agreement requirements on product origin.

The import value of fabric and other materials for this industry accounts for 40% of total garment export revenue, of which 70% of imported fabric is for manufacturing export apparel.
