Fines imposed over price-fixing cartel for acoustic components

The Bundeskartellamt (German Federal Cartel Office) has imposed fines totalling €75m on account of price fixing agreements on five manufacturers of acoustic components for the automotive industry.

The companies involved are Autoneum Germany, Carcoustics International, Greiner Perfoam, Ideal Automotive and the International Automotive Components Group.

Autoneum Germany announced it is to make a settlement payment amounting to €29.5m following the conclusion of proceedings over price fixing.
