Formaldehyde content regulation scrapped in Vietnam

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has removed the inspection of formaldehyde content in textile and clothing products that cause many difficulties to enterprises.

Producers have shown their appreciation after Minister Tran Tuan Anh annulled Circular 37 regarding inspection of formaldehyde content in textile and garment products as they said it was legally groundless, costly and time-consuming.
