From textile waste to automotive nonwovens
One of the missions of Refashion is to accelerate the recycling of textiles and footwear. The French textile, household linen and footwear industry’s eco-organisation has studied the industrial potential of open-loop recycling, i.e., the recovery of used textiles for applications in sectors outside the textile industry, and nonwovens for the transport sector has been selected as one of two priority segments.
