Global fashion brands that produced clothing in China are now moving to Bulgaria and other East European countries, according to Bernard Leroy, head of the consumer goods division of Intertek Moody.
Taking into account the cost of transport, sewing of quality garments is now far cheaper in the Balkans than in China, with the average price of labour per minute at €0.06-0.10.
