Global uncertainties loom over Vietnamese textile industry growth
Vietnam reported a year-on-year rise of 23.5% in exports of textile and clothing worth US$18.7bn in the first five months of this year in the midst of lingering market uncertainties coupled with rising prices of inputs.
A majority of textile and clothing companies have orders to fulfil by the end of September, with many in negotiations to gain more for the rest of the year.
