Government support for Tajik silk fabric producers

The government of Tajikistan is to provide a package of measures for producers of satin, silk fabrics and adras (a traditionally woven fabric with a glossy silk warp) in an effort to stimulate production and exports.

This will include lifting customs duties on imports of silkworms as well as tax benefits.
