Government to increase silk production with Vietnamese assistance

The government of Uzbekistan together with Asia Silk, one of Vietnam’s largest silk textile producers, plans to significantly expand the existing facilities for the production of silk in the Karakalpakstan area of Uzbekistan, which was commissioned by the partners several years ago.
