Chinese-owned industrial park developer and operator QiLu has signed a strategic partnership with the Environmental Protection Industry Associations of Cambodia to build a 450-hectare special economic zone (SEZ) planned for Svay Rieng town, the administrative centre of Svay Rieng Province.
The SEZ, located 4 km from the town centre just south of National Road 1, is expected to cost US$1bn and will be partitioned by industry into six areas, including textiles and clothing.
