Hoa Tho Textile & Garment, a leading Vietnamese textile and clothing manufacturer and a member of the Vietnam National Textile and Apparel Group (Vinatex), has started construction of a new garment plant called Hoa Tho – Phu Ninh Garment in the Cho Lo industrial zone, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province.
The VND100bn (US$4.8m) facility, which includes 10 sewing lines, has an annual capacity of 1.8m units. The factory is planned to go into operation in the first quarter of 2013 and employ around 700 local workers.
