Holmbergs acquires Fasching Safety Belts

Holmbergs Safety System of Sweden is acquiring the Austria-based Fasching Safety Belts, a provider of safety belts for the bus and motor coach industry, as well as commercial vehicles and wheelchairs, with annual revenues of €10m.

The acquisition is said to fit into Holmbergs’ strategy of growing its secured transportation business, both organically and through mergers and acquisition.

The company’s goal is to complement its global market-leading position in child safety systems.
