IAC opens new vehicle interiors plant in India
International Automotive Components, a supplier of automotive components and lightweight vehicle solutions, has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Manesar, India.
The 5,574 m2 plant consolidates two older operations nearby into one manufacturing location.
The company invested more than US$2m in the modernisation of the equipment and facility, which will employ around 220 people.
It will produce vehicle headliners, centre console systems and instrument panel components, and provide expanded manufacturing and engineering support to domestic and global original equipment manufacturer customers in the New Delhi automotive region.
