Inclusion of traditional Albanian dress on UNESCO cultural heritage list

An item of traditional Albanian clothing has been included in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. The xhubleta is traditionally worn by women in the country’s highlands, as well as in Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, with a history dating back 4,000 years.
