Indonesian government to tighten imports to protect domestic products

Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, said the government will implement various regulations to tighten the flow of imported goods into the country.

This step is being taken in response to complaints from associations and the public regarding the high number of imported goods in traditional markets and increased sales of non-domestic goods in e-commerce.
