Indonesian textile exporters brace for US trade war

US President Donald Trump has warned that he may revoke special trade tariffs for Indonesia, especially on textiles, in a bid to reduce his country’s trade deficit.

The US was Indonesia’s second-largest export destination last year, at 11% of total exports, or US$17bn; Indonesia enjoyed a surplus of US$9.59bn.
