Indorama acquires German airbag yarn producer

Thailand-based Indorama Ventures is to acquire Germany’s UTT, which produces airbag fabrics, for an undisclosed amount.

UTT also makes other technical textiles, and has manufacturing sites in Germany and Mexico with an annual capacity of 12,000 tonnes/year.
